展覽簡介
「眺望著花蓮的海洋，這水平線的另一頭是我所生活著的沖繩，接著連接著的，我想是遙遠的日本本島的土地。自古以來，人們渡過大海到彼此的土地上做交流，就這樣有許多的歷史刻劃了各種不同的地方。雖然那裡有傷痕、有影子和黑暗，而現今的我們將持著光，把他們記錄下。」

這次在花蓮的展覽展出的作品是我在花蓮生活的這段日子所拍下的照片和在沖繩時拍下的照片，我將把他們共同在這個展覽展出。第一天會請來來自沖繩的歌手 –上里邦子– 共同做現場的演出。若有機會的話，請一定要來參加，我很期待見到大家。

When I stand looking at the Pacific Ocean in Hualien, I am realizing that this ocean continues to Okinawa, where I based now, and as far as the mainland of Japan.

Since ancient times, people have crossed this ocean, interacted with each other, and there are so many histories have been carved in each place, also many scars, shadows, and darkness, but even that we will capture the present with light."

In this exhibition, I will show my photographs taken during my residency in Hualien this time, as well as photographs taken in Okinawa, in the same space. On the first day of this exhibition, we will perform a live collaboration with Kuniko Uesato from Okinawa, an Okinawan folk singer.If you have a chance, please come, and visit us. 藝術家介紹
野村惠子 Keiko Nomura
日本兵庫縣神戶市出生，畢業於大阪寫真專門學校，並在美國洛杉磯學習攝影，近期生活與創作於沖繩。她的攝影集《Deep South》（1999年）捕捉了她的沖繩根源，並因影像獨特的色彩和豐富的情感而備受關注。此後，女人和水一直是她的主題，她的作品探索超越時間和空間的無限生命循環，至今已出版8本攝影集並舉辦過超過40場以上的展覽。

野村惠子於1999年獲日本攝影學會新人獎、2000年獲東川新人作家獎、2018年《Otari - Pristine Peaks》獲第28回林忠彥賞。其作品被收藏於東京都寫美術館及沖繩縣立博物館‧美術館等。
